In the summer of 2010, Shane Hammer, 4th generation family operator of Frank’s Diner, helped me move out a booth so I could work on this large scale painting on location. Approximately 500 hours and as many french fries were put into this painting. Truly one of the most enriching summers of my life as I was also painting large panels on-location around the downtown Zeeland area. This piece now hangs in the Lakeshore Health Partners Building right off the Zeeland 196 exit.
